(Better than the Movies #1)
Filled with romance and comedy, the book Better Than the Movies will take you on a trip with a hopelessly romantic teenager, crushes, fake dating, and jealousy. Liz has always been passionate about Michael. He basically has been her crush since like – forever. Since he’s moved back now, Liz must try everything – do anything to get him to like her back, or at least pay attention to her. Even if it meant spending time with Wes Bennet, she’ll do it. Wes has always been her enemy, but annoyingly, her neighbor too. He pulled pranks, made fun of her, teased her. He was just so irritating, maddening, provoking- wait he’s friends with Michael? Good friends in fact. This gives Liz an opportunity, one to get closer to Michael, and get him to ask her to prom. During their scheme, Liz and Wes start to get closer, and Liz realizes how much she likes being around him. Hold on, liking Wes wasn’t part of the plan…
Honestly, I LOVED this book. It just had the perfect amounts of everything. The romance, the comedy. It was all just so satisfying to read.
