After Day has pledged his alliance to the new Elector, Anden, things are starting to change within the Republic and a peace treaty between the Republic and the Colonies are being negotiated. Things finally seem to be coming together but an unknown virus within the Colonies breaks the peace treaty and the Republic is on the brink of war against the Colonies. The Colonies traced the plague that is starting to spread in their land to be possibly one of the bio-weapons that the Republic had manufactured. The Republic now has to race to find a cure before the Colonies attack them and one of the only person that could help them find a cure is Day’s younger brother, Eden, which means asking Day if they could take the most important person in his life. The last book of the Legend trilogy is filled with action and heart-wrenching choices made to help the Republic.
I would recommend this book as it is the conclusion to the Legend series by Marie Lu. I liked how action-packed the story is and the plot twists makes it exciting to read.
