(Ender’s Saga #1)
The book is a science fiction novel that follows a child prodigy, Ender, who faces hate and jealousy due his performance and the attention he receives. The book explores different themes and different scenes as Ender grows up in this futuristic environment. Ender struggles with many lessons throughout the story, being able to trust people being one persisting to the very end. Ender meets several people who are looking to betray him as they act as his friends, making Ender question the people he can trust. The book is filled with twists and hardships that Ender must face due to how capable, but young, he is.
I would recommend this book, but not to everyone. The book is pretty long and if the reader isn’t a fan of science fiction, I feel like it’d be a tough book to get through. I liked the world building and the analysis of characters, but it felt too long. It’s a good book to read over time, but for people who like to finish books in a day, this book won’t fit that description. However, anyone who enjoys reading, along with science fiction, will absolutely love this book.
