Museum passes may be borrowed, free of charge, by Bryant Library cardholders, (one per cardholder), over 18 years of age, once every thirty days, who have a Bryant Library card in good standing. Most family passes admit two adults and up to four accompanying children. The Library will not provide additional funds for admission beyond the issuance of the family museum pass. The Library reserves the right to monitor usage to ensure fair access to the greatest number of patrons.
Borrowers are responsible for calling the museum directly for hours of operation, parking or directions. The Museum reserves the right to determine the rules and regulations governing the use of the museum pass. The museum pass may not provide admission to all exhibits at the museum. Borrowers are advised to have a back-up plan in case the museum is unexpectedly closed, or if a museum pass is not returned on time. The Library is not responsible in case any of these things happen.

Passes may not be picked up before the reservation date.

Q: What museums are available?
A: Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Children's Museum of Manhattan, Cradle of Aviation, Garvies Point Museum and Preserve, Guggenheim, The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, Long Island Children's Museum, Museum of the City of New York, Museum of Modern Art, Nassau County Museum of Art, New York Historical Society and Old Westbury Gardens.
Q: Do you have to be a Roslyn cardholder to borrow a museum pass?
A: Yes. You need to be a Roslyn cardholder, over 18 years of age.
Q. Where can reservations for Museum Passes be made?
A: Reservations can be made at the Reference Desk, from computers within the library, or from home via our website.
Q: Do the passes have restrictions?
A: Passes are subject to availability, and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one pass per museum may be borrowed per cardholder every thirty days. In other words, you can reserve a pass to each museum once per month. Passes can be reserved up to sixty days in advance. Borrowers must return a pass before borrowing another one. Please contact the library as soon as possible if you will be unable to use the pass.
Q: How long can you borrow a pass and when do they need to be returned?
A: Museum passes circulate for 2 days. Museum passes are checked out and returned at the Reference Desk. We recommend that you reserve them well in advance. We suggest making the reservation for the date you want to pick up the pass. Passes must be returned by library closing on the due date. Please note: Passes may not be returned to the book drop. Please double check the operating hours of the library on the day that you are picking up and returning a Museum Pass.
Q: What is the penalty for a pass that is returned late?
A: Late fee: $25 per day.
Q: What is the penalty for a lost pass?
A: Lost pass: $50.
Q: How do I see which passes are available?
A: If a pass is available to be reserved, you will see a button that says, "Request Pass."
Q: What does "All Passes Reserved" mean?
A: This means that all passes have been reserved. If you are interested in reserving a pass, find the next available date on the calendar and place your reserve.
Q: What does "No Passes Available" mean?
A: No Passes Available means that the passes are not available to be reserved at this time. Find the next available date on the calendar and place your reserve.
Q: What does "Closed" mean?
A: Closed means that the museum is closed.
