This book is about a girl named Juliet who seeks to explore her romantic life as a lesbian teenager. She faces pressure and struggles from her family and finds it hard to come out to them. Juliet has been dating her friend Lainie for a year, and finds it difficult to come out to her family. When she does, Juliet faces multiple struggles and internal conflicts.
I would definitely recommend this book. This book makes you feel sympathetic or empathetic, interested, and excited to see what comes next. I liked the detailed description and imagery that the author portrays. It gives the reader insight on how it is as a lesbian teenage girl in a family that is not completely supportive of her sexuality.
