Though he did not consider himself to be a visual artist, items from our Christopher Morley Collection suggest that his talent was in his ability to conjure whimsy with simple drawings, marginalia, and portraits of his friends and other members of the Sherlock Holmes-themed club which he helped to found, The Baker Street Irregulars.
