Black history is American history. As we strive to make known the stories of Roslyn residents of color, the Local History Collection is pleased to present this multimedia portal to Black History in Roslyn.
Through articles, photographs, oral history excerpts, and personal manuscripts such as E. Arrell Pearsall’s THIS IS MY LIFE, the portal chronicles the lives and experiences of Roslyn’s Black and Indigenous community during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
