(The Twilights Saga #2)
After 17 year-old Bella Swan’s vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen left town, possibly forever, she fell into a depression. During this, she developed a close friendship with Jacob Black, eventually sucking her in to the world of werewolves. The werewolves helped protect Bella from an evil vampire from the previous book. All while she was purposefully doing dangerous things to have hallucinations of Edward. Getting into trouble was Bella’s strong suit, so it wasn’t hard. However, she kept doing more and more to have these hallucinations, causing an important conflict to occur.
I would only recommend this book to people who enjoyed the first Twilight book. It is a good sequel that has a great follow up story to the first one. I liked that it develops a new relationship with someone who actually made her happy and was a real friend. I also like the way she portrayed depression and Bella’s feelings. However, I disliked how dramatic they were. It was not as irritating as it was in the first book, but it was still annoying.
