This book is about kid with a heart problem. He loves baseball but cannot play due to his heart condition. When he moves to a new town with a very good high school baseball team, he hopes to watch games, but there is a controversy. The middle school’s team coach overworked the players, and they all quit, and there is also a problem with the high school team. He and others try to build a middle school team, with him as the coach.
I would recommend it if you like baseball. However, the plot was kind of predictable and the characters were not very deep. It was somewhat enjoyable to read, but got boring during other parts. It is a childish book and not very sophisticated, so do not expect a deep and contemplative experience. Overall, it was alright but not particularly amazing. In conclusion, I found it middling, as it was simply not very interesting.
