(Moon Base Alpha #1)
I decided to read the book Space Case by Stuart Gibbs. This book is about a boy named Dashiell who lives on the moon. Suddenly a scientist named Dr. Holtz dies and even though everyone says it was accidental, Dashiell doesn’t believe that. Dashiell now spends a lot of time trying to solve this mystery with the help of Zan. Together, they reveal things about people that were unexpected. They are also doing this with no help, because no one is trustworthy.
I would recommend this book to people in middle school or freshman year of high school. This book is an easy read but is very interesting. The plot twists in the book are unexpected, but there are also other parts of the book that are very predictable. I also like how we know the plot of the story at the beginning of the book and as it evolves we realize why this happened and who did it. It is also cool how the book “takes place in space” and shows how kids are reckless and should not be sent to space as they are sometimes irresponsible. Overall, I think that this book was very interesting and it ended unexpectedly which makes you want to read the next book of the series.
