Fridays from 4-5 p.m. during the school year (September – June) – First meeting of the school year is on Friday, September 12
Earn community service hours by attending our Friday meetings where we plan teen programs and community service projects. We welcome all Roslyn residents in grades 6-12 to earn community service hours by joining YADAC.

Teen Book Reviews
Grades 6-12
Read a Young Adult fiction or nonfiction book, submit an online review, and earn two community service hours. You can submit a max of one review per month. Your review will be posted on our website for other students to read. We may also highlight your review on our teen Instagram account @bryantlibraryteens.
Fill out this form to let us know which book you would like to review. Please be sure to select a Young Adult book for students in grades 6-12. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll email you the form to submit your book review. Please give us 1-4 days to review your application. Virtual Art Gallery
Grades 6-12
We are accepting artwork for the 2025 virtual art gallery. You can submit up to six pieces of artwork per year. Even if you participated in the 2024 gallery this school year, you can now submit six new pieces for the 2025 gallery.
Send us your artwork to be displayed in our virtual art gallery on our website, as well as our teen Instagram account! This includes digital copies of drawings, paintings, sculptures, collages, digital art pieces, and photography. Email a digital copy of your artwork (PDF, JPEG, PNG) along with your first and last name, grade, and the title of the piece to [email protected]
Rules for Submission:
- All artwork must be original.
- You can submit up to six pieces of artwork per year. You will earn one community service hour for each piece.
- Artwork must be appropriate for all ages. Anything deemed inappropriate by the library will not appear in the gallery.
- All artwork must be submitted digitally.
Please note: Your first name only and the title of your piece will be displayed on our website along with your artwork. We may also highlight your artwork on our teen Instagram account @bryantlibraryteens. Once a submission is reviewed, a community service certificate will be emailed to you.
Music Reviews
Grades 6-12
Review an album on Hoopla and earn one hour of community service! You can submit up to two reviews per month. Your review will be posted on our website for other students to read. We may also highlight your review on our teen Instagram account @bryantlibraryteens.
To participate, create an account on Hoopla. Hoopla is web and mobile media streaming platform for ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, and TV. Visit this link and click on “Get started.” You will need your library card number to create an account.
Select an album and click on “Borrow” to check it out. Then listen to the album and fill out this form to submit your review. Once a submission is reviewed, a community service certificate will be emailed to you. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
