“The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” is about the main character Junior, who is living on an Indian reservation. When the book begins, he is going through a change in his life by transferring to a new school where he is not wanted. Junior comes from a poor family and the school he is going to is filled with rich white people. Junior will not be able to fit in this school. Throughout the book you go through a journey with Junior as he tries to fit into this new environment.
I would recommend this book if you are interested in a more realistic plot story. This story is a realistic fiction novel and displays a situation that is actually possible. This book shows how you need to make hard decisions in your life in order to succeed. It also displays the struggles of trying to fit in with people who don’t like you whatsoever. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to everyone.
