(Janie Johnson #1)
The Face on the Milk Carton is about a 15 year old girl named Janie Johnson, and at first she has a pretty ordinary life. Until on a regular day at school during lunch, Janie sees something that catches her eye on her milk carton she was drinking from. There are usually pictures of kidnapped children on the back of the milk cartons, but today Janie recognized something. It was a little girl with pigtails wearing a bright white dress with small jet black polka dots. The girl was kidnapped from a shopping mall in New Jersey. She recognized the girl, it was her. She was overwhelmed with shock, but how could it be true? Would her loving parents really kidnap her? Were her parents not truly her parents? It made no sense to Janie but she was eager to find out.
I really liked reading this book and I would definitely reread it again. Overall, I definitely recommend other people that are into mystery or just looking for a good book to read it. Once I got to all the main thrill in the book, I couldn’t put it down and I wanted to continue reading. The mystery in this book is great and it ties everything together really well. I really liked the plot of the story and how everything unfolded. This book is also part of a series so there are a couple other books to read, if you want more. If you want to go deeper into the whole story, I also recommend reading the rest of the books in the series.
