This book is about a young Hobbit, a humanoid like figure, living a peaceful life. He is content with living his normalized life over and over again. However, he soon participates in an adventure to conquer a dragon. The Hobbit, who goes by Bilbo, accompanies a wizard, named Gandalf, and many dwarfs through many events. The journey not only serves as a meaningful adventure for Bilbo, but also as a way for Bilbo to become a better version of himself.
I would recommend this book. It shows problems in our world. Not only is the fantasy world of Middle Earth very interesting, the hidden lessons in the book make it very thoughtful. While at first, it seems that the journey was merely an adventure for Bilbo, if you peruse the book, you will notice the significant character changes within Bilbo throughout the book. As he continues his journey to defeat the dragon, he also continues his journey in creating a better version of himself.
