(The Chronicles of Narnia book #1)
During World War Two, four children are sent away to live with someone. The children were siblings, and one of the siblings, Lucy, finds a wardrobe. Lucy explores the wardrobe and discovers it leads to Narnia, an imaginary world where everything is possible. Later, each of the sibling enters Narnia, where they become aquatinted with a lion and his goal to destroy the witch that is terrorizing Narnia.
I love this book, and would recommend anyone under the age of 18 because it perfectly describes the imagination of children especially during a hard time. The story encapsulates a child’s defense mechanism during tough time. Many children may not relate because of its over the top exaggeration, but it’s a good example and recommend people to read it and live the fantasy.
