The Perks of Being a Wallflower shows the journey of Charlie through high school. Charlie explains his story through letter writing, to an unknown person. Charlie learns lessons in high school, and becomes more extroverted. This is a great book, showing the ups and downs of a high school student.
I would recommend this book to any student in high school. Charlie goes through an adventurous experience in high school, that is relatable to other students. I loved Charlie’s character development throughout the book. It is so heartwarming to see Charlie make his way through high school.
