The diary entries in this book are written by a high school boy who faces a lot of hardships and changes throughout his life. While so many details are shared about the changes he is facing, there is also mystery and questions left for readers such as who he is writing to. Charlie made major changes to his personality and character traits that readers get to see in the novel. These changes came about due to new friendships allowing him to become a new person. Though, while that is the exciting part, something happens towards the end that changes a lot of this. Really good book full of adventures and questions!
I loved this book so much!! It was such a quick and easy read and I loved that the format of the book was written as diary entries. It was the type of book that you couldn’t put down as you felt like you needed to know what was happening next with the characters. I also loved that from the first diary entry to the last there was mystery upon who he was writing to. Totally recommend!!! It is a really good coming of age type of story.
