The Selection is a dystopian book that is a spin off of the TV show, The Bachelor. The difference is that the boy is a prince and whichever girl he marries would become the princess and eventually the queen. 35 girls from all around the nation have been chosen to compete for Prince Maxon’s heart. For most of the girls, this is a dream come true. Well, all except one. America Singer; a beautiful fair, red-head. She absolutely does not want to be here and despises the prince. Will she change her mind in the future? Could Prince Maxon change her feelings? Is it possible for her dreams for the future change into a future she never imagined?
I absolutely loved this book because it had so many emotions and you (the reader) could feel every single one. This book made me laugh, cry, throw the book across the room, and then run to go pick it up and read the next chapter! I definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in dystopian, romance style books!
