The book focuses on two male teens, Rufus and Mateo, who live in a world where you are notified with a phone call when it is your death day. Before their death dates, Rufus and Mateo are total strangers, with opposed outlooks on life, who meet through a website of those who want to make one last friend before their deaths. Throughout the day, they are embark on adventures, meet new people, and endure adversity that ultimately strengthens the bond between them.
This book is a page turner, and I totally would recommend it because it interesting to see how quickly a bond can form between two total strangers. The plot is absolutely phenomenal and isn’t too difficult to follow. The characters show a significant development in personality from the beginning to the end of the book. The book has tons of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
