(Throne of Glass book #1)
Throne of Glass is the first in a very entertaining series by Sarah J. Maas, following the story of Celaena Sardothien, an 18 year-old girl, who is a trained assassin. She lives in a corrupt kingdom, and losing her parents at an early age, she is left to fend for herself in a land where trusting anyone could lead to your downfall. Known as Adarlan’s assassin, her reputation earns her an opportunity to work for the King, but the job isn’t as simple as she had originally thought. Full of twists and turns, Celaena’s journey never has a dull moment.
I highly recommend this book, especially to young teens. There was so much to love in this book, writing about it came super easily, and I continued to the next book, eventually finishing the series. And that’s the best part. Throne of Glass is amazing in itself, and it barely scrapes the surface of the entire story. The series hooks you, and reels you in faster than a pro fisherman. Just read a few pages, and you’ll get sucked into Celaena’s life too.
