(Warcross book #2)
After learning the truth about Hideo’s plan with his NeuroLink algorithm, Emika can no longer trust him. She and the Phoenix Riders then plan on how to stop Hideo’s plans but faced another problem. There is now a bounty on Emika’s head and assassins are now out to kill her. Her only chance of survival is to accept Zero’s offer and help him and his crew called the Blackcoats to stop Hideo. As she helps them, she continues digging for clues and the truth behind Zero’s backstory. The further Emika gets herself into this problem, the more she is in danger as she tries to find the truth in this world of virtual reality.
I would recommend this book as it is the sequel and the conclusion of Warcross. There are lots of plot twists that get you to question who the real enemy is and explains what really happened to Sasuke when he disappeared. This book shows the amount of power such advanced technology could have on the world and how it can also be extremely dangerous. This series shows the beauty and the dangers of having such advanced technology and gets you to question if it is good or bad.
